A Canvas of Love: Turning Wedding Flowers into Timeless Art
Share
Weddings hold so many beautiful details—the laughter, the vows, the bouquet full of meaning and love. When my sister-in-law got married, I knew I didn’t want to just give her a gift. I wanted to create something she could feel forever.
So I made this canvas. 🤍
A soft, elegant sketch of the couple walking together—drawn in black ink, with gentle pastel tones for their skin and wedding attire. I kept it minimal and timeless, just like the moment it represents. Around them, the real flowers from her bouquet are preserved in paint: I gently pressed the dried petals into the canvas, creating subtle patterns and texture with modeling paste. I selected just 1 or 2 pastel colors from her bouquet to keep the palette soft, harmonious, and meaningful.
And for that final touch of magic? ✨
I finished the sides with hand-applied 24k gold foil—a nod to celebration, light, and love that continues to shine.
This piece isn’t just a painting. It’s a personal heirloom—a way to keep a wedding day close, in the most artful and romantic way.
🌸 I now offer this as a custom service for brides, grooms, and anyone wanting to preserve a piece of their wedding day. You send me your bouquet (fresh or dried), and I’ll turn it into something eternal:
-
A hand-painted canvas
-
A minimalist, pastel portrait
-
With your real bouquet flowers integrated into the background
-
And gold foil sides for a fine-art finish
This is more than art—it's your story, captured forever.
With love,
Fatima Lee
